Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as session storage, can remember choices during a visit. This notice covers the eCom Collab Club website; other services have their own notices.
Essential sessions
The website uses ecc_session for staff sign-in and private sponsorship workflows, including form protection. It lasts up to eight hours under the current website configuration, and is protected with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite settings.
The website may use react-router-scroll-positions in browser session storage to restore where you were on a page. This is not an advertising identifier and normally ends with the browser tab's session.
Your measurement choice
ecc-measurement-choice-v1 records whether you allow or decline optional measurement, within the browser tab's session. You can reopen Optional measurement settings to change your choice. Declining does not stop you using the site.
Optional Google Analytics
On the public website, Google Analytics is loaded only after you allow measurement. It measures page visits and selected Dining Club, event, sponsorship and FAQ interactions. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in the website's configuration.
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id> to recognise visitors and sessions. Google's documented default duration is two years; Analytics settings and browser limits can shorten that. The final-domain configuration will be checked when measurement is activated. Optional Google measurement remains disabled on the temporary Replit address until the final-domain measurement settings are approved.
External content and links
The homepage film is served by this website. The podcast list loads cover artwork from its media host at d3t3ozftmdmh3i.cloudfront.net. Loading that artwork sends ordinary connection information to that host, but no third-party cookie or embedded player was observed in the inspected pages.
Event booking, dinner applications, calls and external video or podcast playback can take you to another provider's website. That provider's own cookie and privacy information applies there.
Managing storage
Use Optional measurement settings to allow or decline measurement. Browser settings also let you inspect or remove cookies. Blocking the essential session cookie may prevent staff sign-in or private sponsorship steps. Removing browser storage does not delete sponsorship records or unsubscribe you from newsletters.
