Behind the Scenes
Selling Stuff Online Is a Team Sport.
DTC brands. Agencies. eCom apps. Useful people who are even more useful when they actually know each other.
That’s eCom Collab Club®.
We bring the industry together through free events, proper conversations and shared experiences. Somewhere to learn what’s working, admit what isn’t and meet people who could help with whatever’s currently making you swear at your laptop.
It all started with a bit of a moan.
During lockdown, Blend Commerce founders Adam Pearce and Peter Gardner spotted a problem:
eCommerce agencies and technology providers did better work when they worked together. But plenty of partnership programmes involved signing up to a portal, getting a badge and then…well, not much else.
Everyone was a “partner”. Hardly anyone had actually met.
So Adam and Peter decided to get people in a room and see what happened.
In January 2022, eCom Collab Club® launched with around 30 people in a tiny Vue cinema on Leicester Square. Real conversations. Real handshakes. Plans that people might actually follow through on.
Turns out, folks quite liked that!

Then the brands turned up.
What started as a meet-up for agencies and apps became a community that included the people they were there to help: DTC founders and eCommerce teams.
Which made the conversations considerably more useful.
Today, our London event has grown into a fixture in more than 200 eCommerce professionals’ diaries, bringing household names and boutique brands together at ODEON Luxe West End in Leicester Square.
One Wednesday morning a month, we talk shop. Literally.
There are panels, shared experiences and plenty of time to meet people. It’s a celebration of getting good at selling things online – with enough honesty about the messy bits to help you get there yourself.
More than a monthly meet-up.
Different conversations need different settings. So we’ve made a few.
eCC London
Our monthly morning gathering for brands, agencies and apps. Practical panel discussions, fresh perspectives and bloody good conversations. Yes, it’s early. We’ve covered that…
DTC Dining Club
Smaller, curated dinners for brands or agencies. A chance to get past the introductions, ask proper questions and finish a conversation without someone announcing the next panel.
Virtual Sessions
Practical workshops and discussions you can join from your desk. Useful expertise, without negotiating with the train timetable.
The Podcast & The Checkout
Conversations, ideas and industry goings-on to watch, listen to or read between events. Because occasionally we have something useful to say outside a cinema. It happens…
Our events are free to attend, with sponsors helping foot the bill and contributing their expertise.
Why we keep doing it.
Because nobody has all this figured out.
Founders need people they can compare notes with. Agencies need to understand what brands actually need. Apps need to hear the problems their customers are trying to solve.
Put those people together and good things happen.
Someone gets an answer. Someone finds a collaborator. Someone avoids an expensive mistake because the person next to them has already made it.
That’s what we’re here for: useful relationships that lead to better work, stronger businesses and fewer people trying to figure everything out on their own.
Who’s driving this thing, then?
